3 Months!

Wow, its hard to believe that Mason is three months old already! We cannot believe how much he has changed since August 25th.  Literally, getting bigger - from his 7/5 birth weight to, now, a staggering 16 lbs!

But also many other developments...

Milestones: 
He smiled for the first time around 2 months, and now does it all the time! Its amazing how a big, gummy smile can turnaround the worst of days!  He recognizes people and voices. Loves to chat it up - he has the sweetest little coo!  I love my early 4am conversations with my little buddy.  There is nothing better.

He rolled over for the first time on Friday.  Usually babies will roll from their tummys to their backs first. But Mason did a full 360 - starting on his back, rolled to his tummy, then back over to his back.  I think it kind of startled him, and he has yet to do it again since!

Sleeping:
Our nightime routine is the highlight of my day!! We take a bath around 7:30 - Mason loves his baths!! He enjoys kicking and splashing in the water. Then we read some bedtime stories - his favorite right now seems to be Frosty the Snowman and we always end with Goodnight Moon.  Eats around 8, then I cuddle and rock him to sleep.  On a good night he will sleep from 8:30 til 3:30.  One night he went until 6! It was amazing.  Trying to get a couple more of those!
